Cory rolls over what looks like Crest toothpaste with Sherwin Williams "Steely Gray" in the old front guestroom.
Other than making profound decisions on countertop colors and faucets, most of our involvement in this remodel consists of approving bank draws. Lucas Craftsmanship will be painting all of the areas affected by the project, however we have long needed to repaint our front little bedroom. When we first arrived in December 2000, the first priority was to repaint the pink and peach walls left by little old Mrs. Dubie. We did that quickly, but never followed up to cover the icky color of the front bedroom. The best way to decribe it would be “creamed teal” or “wintergreen overload.” Neither of these names were likely in a contractor’s fan deck, but this color certainly was.
We spent much time with “Stacy” at the local Sherwin Williams store, spreading out our plans and strategizing over selections that would complement the choices we already made. After plenty of deliberation, we left with cans of “Steely Gray” for downstairs bedroom and den walls, and “Snowbound” for trim. By the warmth of a spaceheater on a 100 foot extension cord, we successfully put the old minty mess to rest.
